Your data on our BTS 2026 pages
This notice covers reach.xcodefixglobal.com: the page you see after scanning a Xcodefix Global QR code, our event page and the DPDP readiness score. It is written to meet the notice requirements of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect, and when
- Nothing personal until you choose to share. When you open a page we record anonymous activity: which buttons were tapped, the handshake reference, the topic, and your device family (iPhone, Android or other). No cookies are set on visitor pages, and we don’t store your IP address. It is used briefly in hashed form to stop abuse.
- If you fill in a form (email brief, meeting request or score snapshot): your name, email or WhatsApp number, company if you add it, the topic you picked, and the time you gave consent.
- If you message us on WhatsApp, your number reaches us through WhatsApp, under WhatsApp’s own terms.
- If one of our team saves your details after meeting you (for example from your visiting card), we record them with the date and the topic you discussed.
- DPDP score answers are stored without personal details. They are linked to you only if you ask for the snapshot.
Why we use it
Only to send what you asked for (a brief, a meeting confirmation or your snapshot), to follow up about it, and to keep a record of the people we met at Bengaluru Tech Summit 2026. No newsletters unless you ask, and we never sell or rent your data.
How long we keep it
Up to 12 months after you share it, then it is deleted. Anonymous activity counts may be kept longer for statistics.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Email info@xcodefixglobal.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We respond within 30 days, well inside the 90 days the DPDP Rules allow. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Who can see it
Only the Xcodefix Global team members who met you or manage event follow-up. The data is stored on our own servers in a database accessible only through authenticated, logged admin access, and it is encrypted in transit.
